AESES-UW Ratification Vote Updates – Voting Period Extended
The voting period is now closed.
The voting period has been extended through the weekend to Monday, February 23 at 2:00 pm.
We are aware that some members have not received their voting links yet, while others have already received their messages and voted. Voting emails have been sent from Simply Voting and have reached The University of Winnipeg mail servers, but are being delivered slowly due to the University’s spam filtering system.
If you haven’t received your voting email yet, please note that it should arrive shortly as the messages continue to be released from the filter.
With this in mind, we have decided to extend the voting period through the weekend to Monday, February 23 at 2:00 pm. This will allow all members to receive the email and participate in the vote. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue.

- 12:00 pm – UW provided context for the trouble ticket for Simply Voting
- 11:30 pm – Contacted provider Simply Voting, waiting for a response
- 10:30 am – Acknowledged problem within UW mail filters, escalated trouble ticket, emails are slowly being sent
- 9:15 am – First inquiry about voting emails not being received as sent
