Retirement Planning at UM: Sign up for a Session

AESES-UM staff who plan to retire within the next five years and are also part of the University of Manitoba Pension Plan (1993), are invited to register for one of two upcoming retirement planning sessions being offered by UM’s Human Resources department.

Session speakers will provide information on the retirement planning process, UM’s pension plan and the pension benefit payout options available on retirement, government benefits, taxes, wills, estate planning, and retiree health benefits.

The November 13th session will be held at the Fort Garry campus, from 9:00am-3:00pm, in Room 142 of St. John’s College, with a light lunch served. Pre-registration is required and as there are only 20 seats available, we strongly encourage you to register here at your earliest convenience, if interested.

Similarly, the November 15th session will be held at the Bannatyne campus, in 164 Apotex, from 9:00am-3:00pm, with a light lunch served. Pre-registration is required. To attend, register here.

Note: There is extra room available if employees want to bring their partner to the session.
