Trivia Time: Celebrating International Women’s Day

March 8th is an important date celebrated around the world – International Women’s Day.
This year, we’re recognizing (and learning a little bit more about) the women who have had a significant impact on the foundation of Canada’s labour and rights movement, by hosting an educational trivia game. Stop by the AESES booth at your campus between 12 noon and 2:00 PM on March 8th to mark the occasion. You can find us at:
  • UM Bannatyne – Brodie Atrium
  • UM Fort Garry – 2nd Floor, University Ctr
  • UW – 2nd Floor, Centennial Hall (by escalators)

While there, test your knowledge by taking a minute to answer three skill-testing questions as part of this fun event. For each member who participates in the International Women’s Day trivia game, AESES will donate $1 to a local women’s shelter (up to a maximum of $1,000). Member donations will also be humbly accepted for further distribution to the shelter.

Plus, we’ll be handing out free bags of popcorn to our members.

Join us on March 8th!
