The AESES Activities Committee is excited to announce the annual Children’s party! Enjoy an afternoon filled with entertainment from Karlheinz the Bubbleman, colouring, crafts, a washable tattoo station, nail painting, and clowns who will provide face painting and balloon animals. food, and a visit from Santa.

Karlheinz the Bubbleman takes great pride in sharing the magical world of bubbles with you. This show tantalizes the senses and seems almost impossible to be real. This is not a magic show or a circus act but it is so magical you will want to be part of it again and again. If you scream just right, you might be chosen to experience the bubbling experience up close and personal. There is nothing quite like it! The Bubbleman uses his magical tools to create bubbles as small as a penny or as big as a house. He can even put people inside bubble… but make sure you are floating upright just in case the bubble pops!

  • This event is for signed AESES members. If not yet signed, visit: aeses.ca/forms/membership-application to fill out a form. It’s free and allows you to attend the Annual General Meeting and future events and seminars.
  • Pre-registration is mandatory. You cannot register at the door and admittance will not be granted.
  • Dependent children aged 10 and younger will receive a meal and gift, courtesy of AESES.
  • Lunch will also be available for purchase for parents/guardians and children over the age of 10. This is a cash only event.
  • Coats and boots can be left in the UMGSA Lounge across the hall.
  • Please note: The University of Manitoba is a mask-friendly community.

The registration deadline is October 27, 2026. No late registrations or walk-ups at the door will be accepted.

AESES is affiliated with the Confederation of Canadian Unions (CCU).

AESES' Charter Meeting was held in December of 1972.

We offer bursaries for AESES dependents at both universities.

Anyone can attend a Board meeting by calling the AESES Business Office prior to the meeting and confirming their attendance.

AESES requires new volunteers for various committees. Please contact the Business Office if you are an AESES member interested in joining one of our committees.
